    Columbia River
    The Columbia River runs from British Columbia, Canada, into the United States. This body of water divides Oregon and Washington, running more than 1,200 mi (2,000 km) before draining into the Pacific Ocean. Numerous rivers are offshoots of the Columbia River, including the Hood and Willamette Rivers.

    Deschutes River

    Branching off of the Columbia River, Oregon's Deschutes River boasts a plethora of scenic views and wild rapids to entertain visitors. Spanning roughly 175 mi (280 km), the Deschutes starts at Biggs Junction and ends in the Wickiup Reservoir west of La Pine. The Upper Deschtures offers fishing and boating activities; The Middle Deschutes features scenic views, waterfalls and access to hiking areas; and the Lower Deschutes boasts whitewater rafting opportunities and fishing areas.
